wello, i finally finished the rebuild of the old vw steering wheel yesterday. higgingshad very kindly milled out the boss from the spare wheel i had. drilled a few holes for fixing the boss and the wheel together. re-wired the horn button and put it on my car this morning.

only to be pissed off because there wasnt enough room for my hands to hold it propperly because there wasnt enough clearence between the wheel and the indicator/wiper controls.

right, for those who wer'nt there here is my coneption of the drawing the guy from maveric ramps came up with. nothing was finalized but here was a working model. the bowled area and most of the strweet area will be raised out of the ground, due to vicky park used to be a marsh and a small river actually runs underneath the skatepark anyway(in a storm drain).
the bit with "poss' speed bowl" will be a round bowl connected to the rest of the bowl via a spine. as the final bit was lacking a spine.

you will also notice the lack of a jumpbox.

i for one am gutted, but as people have always done when there is no box jumping to flat will be a substitute. maybe we can work out some concrete flatbank down the side of the raised bowl area leading into a quater. god i hope so!!!!!!!!!!!!

ah here we are, more pics from my circuit bending pastime. here's the low-down.
first up is the alphabet apple bends include potentiometer and audio out. it is connected via the out into my casio sk1. wich is a sampling keyboard. ultimate fun.
next up is a collection of "bent" and standard toys. note the guitar. only a simple glitch "bend" but very good .
then we have the buzz lightyear voice changer. no bends as of yet but it is however connected to a large speaker.
next pic is a few works in progress. these inclde many keyboards, toys and a drum machine.....
pic five, well, ring ring, its for you.
and thats followed up by a collection of tools of the trade. drill, soldering iron, dual compound glue, etc....

recording is getting closer by the second.

ah, horrid noises. something im a fan of. especially when they come from deranged kids toys.
my little project had taken a slump recently but 2 new toys have since perked up my spirit.
a disney theme tune machine and a cyber piano 2. the disney machine died instantly due to my agressive techniques but the cyber piano was an instasnt success. a little time spent on it and i had figured out the circuits and soldered on a modification. effectivly short-circuiting the chip to cause slow motion destorted death at the flick of a big green switch.

the red keyboard with a massive speaker is an early and simple modification. removing the og' speaker and rewiring it with this. also a connection was made inside so now its also louder.

a few more successes like this and the 8 track recording can begin!
